Bardiya National Park
Bardiya National Park is the largest National Park in the lowland Terai covering an area of 968 sq.km. This park is mainly famous for the habitat of Tigers. Some of the most famous wildlife found in this park are Royal Bengal Tiger, the Asiatic Elephant, the one horned rhinoceros and many other momally found animals. 61 species of mammals, 513 species of birds, 42 herpetofauna and 120 fishes have been recovered from the park area.
Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is preserved area in Terai lowlands of south- central Nepal. This park is famous for grassy plains whis is the home for the rare mammals such as Bengal Tiger , One Horened Rhinoceros. It has a particularly rich flora and fauna. Some of the endangered fauna found in this park are One-horned rhinoceros, Gaur, Royal Bengal Tiger, Wild elephant, Four horned antelope, Pangolin, Golden monitor Lizard, Python, etc.
